Come aboard Imagine, a five-passenger pontoon boat, and travel the storied rivers and tributaries feeding Winyah Bay with former marine scientist (USC-Baruch Marine Laboratory) and licensed boat tour Captain Paul Kenny at the helm and local treasure historian Lee Brockington imparting histories, mysteries, and tidbits of wisdom from the stern.
Lee has been sharing the history of the Lowcountry for years as an instructor for CLASS and OLLI, as a public speaker for the Georgetown County Library System, and as a former Director of Interpretation for Hobcaw Barony.
Although shade and shelter are available on board, please bring your own weather and bug protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, windbreaker, bug spray). Water and ice are provided.
$125.00 per person, per tour.
Room for five passengers on each pontoon tour. All tours are about 3 hours long with a restroom stop on each tour. Departing from Hagley Landing (at the end of Hagley Drive in Pawleys Island), parking is allowed on Hagley Drive. All Pontoon River Tours will be confirmed 24 hours in advance once Captain Paul Kenny has confirmed the weather forecast.
