Storehouse Tours offers day trips to area historical and cultural sites from Georgetown to Charleston. It is a great adventure for a small group. 
 
We will travel by 15-passenger van that we use a step stool to step up into, like a Ford Transit or Chevy Express Van.
 
All Day Trips will depart in the morning and return in the late afternoon or early evening (depending on traffic!) Time departure details will be emailed to the travelers a week before the trip.

Gibbes Museum & Holy City Church

Come with me AND docent Robin McCall to the Gibbes Museum of Art, where we will see original works of famous artists from Charleston like Alice Huger Smith, Elizabeth O’Neil Verner, Alfred Hutty and Ann Taylor. Robin's favorite - the Miniature Portrait room! This is the nation’s second largest collection with over 600 works in this room that are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. We will also take a tour of the Circular Congregational Church and walk through their historic graveyard. Lunch is included in this trip. $130 per person. Departure between 8:00am and 8:30am, returning between 4:30pm and 5:00pm.

Progressive Literary Tour

This is a great way to get face-to-face with some local Authors! We will travel the Grand Strand, meeting some engaging Authors in their homes. Get to know what makes each author tick, and how they practice their craft. You will get a chance to hear these authors’ stories, ask them questions, see where they hone their writing skills, buy their books (optional) and have your books signed personally by them. Snacks and lunch are included in this trip. $100 per person. Departure between 8:30am and 9:00am, returning between 4:30pm and 5:00pm.

Southport is located on the coast of Southeastern North Carolina, where the Cape Fear River meets the Atlantic Ocean. It is known for its stunning scenery, history, maritime heritage, and breezes that cast a calm and welcoming ambience. Overlooking the beautiful Cape Fear River, this charming old southern village offers up plenty of mystery and history, and many movies have been filmed here.
