Storehouse Tours offers day trips to area historical and cultural sites from Georgetown to Charleston. It is a great adventure for a small group.
We will travel by 15-passenger van that we use a step stool to step up into, like a Ford Transit or Chevy Express Van.
All Day Trips will depart in the morning and return in the late afternoon or early evening (depending on traffic!) Time departure details will be emailed to the travelers a week before the trip.

Come with me to see the flight demonstration programs, which are the highlight of a visitor’s experience at the Center for Birds of Prey! Seeing hawks, falcons, owls, eagles, kites and vultures perform their natural flying and hunting techniques provides a fascinating insight into their unique evolutionary adaptations. Your purchases at these shops will help empower women in crisis in the local area, help those suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia, feed the community through food donations, provide dental care to children in need and help a local no-kill animal shelter. $99.00 per person includes transportation, treats and discounts and a light lunch. Pick up in Pawleys Island or Surfside. Departure between 8:00am and 8:30am, returning between 4:30pm and 5:00pm.

'A Historic Holiday' Day Trip

Let’s celebrate the season by visiting two historic properties in Georgetown, SC! Join me on a docent led tour of Hobcaw Barony, the 16,000-acre coastal estate that was purchased in 1905 by New York financier Bernard Baruch. Hobcaw House is beautifully decorated by the Georgetown Garden Club using native greenery. After lunch in Georgetown, we will visit the Kaminski House Museum and its festively decorated historic rooms. All of its rooms will be decked out in glitz and glamour for the holidays! Constructed circa 1769, the Kaminski House Museum was home to many prominent Georgetown residents. $125.00 per person includes transportation, entry fees and lunch. Let’s make a Day Trip to Calabash, N.C. and visit the Calabash Garden Tea Room for a Teatime filled with ambiance and charm! The Calabash Garden Tea Room is a Victorian style tea house in downtown Calabash that is filled with garden furniture, vintage linens, antique teacups, pots and silverware. Let's sip, relax and enjoy life for a while. While in Calabash, we will also visit a consignment shop and some boutique galleries. You’ll find original paintings, pottery, driftwood art, shell figurines, jewelry, glassware, cards, and more, that are lovingly handmade by talented artists and local crafters. $120.00 per person includes transportation and High Tea. Progressive Literary Tour

This is a great way to get face-to-face with five local Authors! We will travel the Grand Strand, meeting some engaging Authors in their homes. Get to know what makes each author tick, and how they practice their craft. You will get a chance to hear these authors’ stories, ask them questions, see where they hone their writing skills, buy their books (optional) and have your books signed personally by them. Snacks, light lunch and Book Tote are included in this trip. $100 per person. Departure between 8:30am and 9:00am, returning between 4:30pm and 5:00pm.
