Join us for an unforgettable trip at Christmastime to The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia!

Day 1 – 12/9: We will travel by motor coach from Surfside Presbyterian Church to Charlotte, NC for a matinee performance of The Nutcracker by the Charlotte Ballet Company. Afterward, we will have dinner, then check into our hotel for a one night stay.

Day 2 – 12/10: Today we will drive north through the majestic mountains of West Virginia, stopping for lunch along the way. Arriving in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia home to The Greenbrier, which is a National Historic Landmark and world-class resort that has been welcoming guests since 1778. Join the guest list that includes 27 presidents, royalty, celebrities, business leaders and now you! After checking into your room, dress for dinner (yes, there is a dress code) then proceed to the elegant main dining room for a delicious meal.

Enjoy a nightcap at one of the six resort bars, or try your luck at the Casino Club, then end the night with (an included) champagne toast!

Day 3 – 12/11: After an impressive breakfast, take a guided historical tour of the resort and learn about all the activities available to you today. Enjoy a culinary demonstration, swim in the indoor pool, indulge in a spa treatment or have afternoon tea. There is also an optional tour ($42) of The Greenbrier’s top- secret and declassified Cold War Bunker that was built under the resorts west wing. We return to the main dining room for dinner this evening.

Day 4 – 12/12: After our breakfast in the Main Dining Room at The Greenbrier Resort we will travel from West Virginia back to South Carolina with a stop for lunch on the way.
